# AirPoise AirPoise is a free macOS 14+ menu-bar app. It reads Apple's fused AirPods motion stream (CMHeadphoneMotionManager / CoreMotion) and turns head pose into posture coaching and head-gesture shortcuts. Nothing is uploaded. There is no account, no camera, and no network. This is a software product. It is not the AirPoise sitting cushion sold at airpoise.com. ## What it does - Posture: compare gravity to a calibrated upright pose. Flexion = chin forward. Lateral = ear toward shoulder. Nudge when a lean is held. - Gestures: nod, double nod, shake, glance, tilt, hold-tilt, lean, roll — bound to keystrokes, Shortcuts, URLs, scripts, media keys, Mission Control, Spaces, and more. - Privacy: on-device. Settings live in ~/Library/Application Support/AirPoise. ## Requirements - macOS 14 Sonoma or later - Headphones with Spatial Audio head tracking, connected as Mac audio output: AirPods Pro, AirPods 3, AirPods 4, AirPods Max, Beats Fit Pro - Original AirPods and AirPods 2 have no IMU and will not work ## Honest limits - Head pose is not full-spine posture. A level head on a rounded back still reads "good". - Sample rate is ~25 Hz. - Intel Macs on Sonoma are not guaranteed. ## Site The marketing site is a single page.
